Bedroom 2 with twin beds, air-conditioning, one fitted wardrobe, dressing table/mirror & balcony, which connects with kitchen.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds, air-conditioning, one fitted wardrobe (mirror fronted). Two chairbeds are also provided for additional accommodation.

Both are fully tiled with built-in vanity units, lights & shaving points.

microwave, kettle, toaster. Filtered water on tap. Fully equipped with cutlery, crockery etc. Breakfast bar with two stools. Extendable dining-table with six chairs. Patio door to balcony with table & chairs.

Spacious room with door to balcony, which connects with Bedroom 1. One triple sofa, one double sofa, two armchairs, coffee table, one desk & office chair.
Digital TV/Radio (British regional TV channels) & DVD. Air-conditioning. Log fire for winter nights.

Large hall with fitted wardrobe (contains travel cot, towels & bedding for chair beds).

​Cleaning
Towels, tea towels & linen are provided & changed weekly. Guests need to use their
towels/linen/own beach towels. Property will be cleaned prior to arrival & additional cleaning can be maid service.provided on a weekly basis if requested at a small extra charge.

​Notes on accommodation
All windows are double-glazed with electric security shutters. The air-conditioning units also double-up as heaters in the winter. High security entrance door & remote control garage door to secure underground parking.

​Outside
27 Sq.m. tiled private roof terrace with views of Tavira. Table & Chairs & sun loungers.

Shops/Restaurants
A good selection of shops & restaurants are available in the town, which can be reached in little over 5 mins walk from the apartment. There are riverside restaurants on both sides of the river & crossing the Roman Bridge allows you to explore the narrow streets, which contain a large number of bars & highly rated restaurants.
​
​Coast/Beach
Nearest beach, the Ilha of Tavira is 2km. It is accessed by ferry (Approx €2 return) which can be reached by walking to town & catching the road train or is a 5 minute drive. The blue flag golden sand beach stretches all the way to Faro & has restaurants, toilets/showers sun shades etc. Barril Beach at Pedras del Rei is reached by a short drive & can be accessed by foot or tourist train.

​Golf
There are five courses within 30 mins drive of the apartment.

As the apartment is only 5 mins drive from the motorway that runs along the Algarve from Spain (20 mins) to Lagos (1 hour) most courses can be reached in less than an hour.
​
​Travel
Tavira is a 25 minute drive from Faro Airport, or 2 hours from Seville Airport (Spain) which is 1hr ahead!! Car Hire is recommended, but not essential. Tavira Railway Station is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment & the line runs from Monte Gordo in the east to Lagos in the west. The fact that the apartment is so close to the motorway means that any part of the Algarve is easily accessible by car.

​Booking Notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable to secure your booking. Any breakages are chargeable & should be notified on return of the keys.

DIRECTIONS TO TAVIRA APARTMENT
From Faro Direction you can approach on either the:-
EN125 (Main Road)
Or
A22 (Motorway) Exiting at Tavira Junction (16)
USING A22 (MOTORWAY):
1. Follow exit circuit
Turn Right onto N125 signed Faro (& A22 Portmaio)
NB Overhead Signs S.B.Alportel (S.Bras N2) 0.0 km
2. Follow circular road off N125 to join N2 main road towards
S.B.Alportel (S.Bras) 6.1 km
3. Turn right onto A22 (motorway) Heading East signed Espanha/Olhao
(Once on A22 NB Sign for Tavira 26 km) 12.1 km
4. Exit A22 at Junction 16 towards Tavira. 34.2 km
5. Continue forward 400 metres to the roundabout & go straight on (2nd exit) 34.6 km

All motor vehicles are driven on the right. Safety belts must be worn.
Maximum speed allowable in built-up areas is 50 km/h, increasing to 90 & 120 km/h respectively on
the open road & on motorways. Most petrol stations are open from 7.00am to 10.00pm, while those on
motorways are open 24 hours a day.
Exceeding the speed limit in radar controlled zones activates a red traffic light further down the road, so keep to the speed limits to avoid aggravating fellow road users!!
